God is good. You already knew that, but when was the last time you specified the reasons why He is good? Sometimes we just need to reflect and be reminded of how many ways God is good to us. 

 

This is White Pine's Youth Sunday and Step-Up Day. Many of our students will lead us in worship and share their personal answers to the question: Why is God good? Together we will remember what God has done for us and praise Him for being good!

But what else will you be giving her this year? How about something that money can't buy? I will be sharing with you the top three gifts moms have told me they want for Mother's Day--and not one of them costs a dime.

Sure.  Actually, there are many. And we are (or at least I am) adept at using them. But when we scrutinize our excuses biblically, loopholes close and God's will for us is clarified.

If you have a tendency to justify inaction in this area of your life, I hope you will come to church this Sunday with a readiness to change--because generosity not only benefits the poor; it makes life better for you, too.
