Turning Dead Ends into Detours

Watch, "Turning Dead Ends into Detours" By Greg Sidders, Sunday, 05-29-16, White Pine Community Church

Few things are as frustrating as being where you don't want to be with no way out. But it's there, at that dead end, that God does some of His best work. If you feel stuck in any area of your life, and you have been wondering what God is up to, you'll find out in this message.

The Unforgivable Sin

Watch, "The Unforgivable Sin" By Greg Sidders, Sunday, 05/15/16

It's one of the most terrifying things Jesus ever said.

"Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven."

It's not just the finality of the words, but the fuzziness of them, that makes so many of us vulnerable to the whispers of the devil. We're not sure what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is, but we're haunted with the fear that we've done it.

In this message Greg provides relief through clarity. I'll explain what the sin is so that the accusations of the evil one will be deflected by the truth that sets us free.

All I Want For Mother's Day

Watch "All I Want For Mother's day" By Greg Sidders
May 8, 2016 White Pine Community Church

We might as well call Mother's Day "Go To Church With Mom Day", because that's what we do, right?  Whether we are regular attenders or not, this is one day when we show up, for the love of Mom.

But what else will you be giving her this year? How about something that money can't buy? I will be sharing with you the top three gifts moms have told me they want for Mother's Day--and not one of them costs a dime.

Excuses

Watch, "Excuses" By Greg Sidders, Sunday, 04/24/16

Is there any excuse for ignoring the needs of those who have less than we do?

Sure.  Actually, there are many. And we are (or at least I am) adept at using them. But when we scrutinize our excuses biblically, loopholes close and God's will for us is clarified.

If you have a tendency to justify inaction in this area of your life, I hope you will come to church this Sunday with a readiness to change--because generosity not only benefits the poor; it makes life better for you, too.
