Loving Jesus

Watch "Loving Jesus" By Greg Sidders
White Pine Community Church April 29, 2018

When you love someone, Bryan Adams sings, you'll do anything. You'll do all the crazy things that you can't explain.

So when was the last time you anything crazy for Jesus?

In our study of John 14:1-25, we'll watch someone who loved Jesus do for Him what others called crazy. And we'll celebrate what He did out of love for us, crazy as it was.

If you knew, beyond a doubt, what was going to happen tomorrow, how would it affect the way you live today?
That may sound like an absurd question, but not if you know someone who really does know the future. And not if he is willing to tell you what he knows.

Mark 13 is a chapter in which Jesus tells us what he knows about the future, so that we can live more wisely in the present. I hope you will join us for a life-changing preview of end-times headlines.

When God thinks of you, does He smile?

If the face of Jesus is any indication, the answer is: It depends. How God feels about you is not unrelated to your behavior.

So what kind of behavior pleases God? And what might we do to displease Him? We'll find out in our study of Mark 12:35-44.

Lopsided Spirituality

Watch "Lopsided Spirituality" By Greg Sidders
White Pine Community Church April 8, 2018

If you've ever flipped through the pages of a Bible or listened to a sermon series or seen the bookshelf in a pastor's office, it may surprise you to hear that all of God's expectations can be condensed to a single tweet.

It only took Jesus 140 characters to tell a man who was buried in religious rules and regulations what matters most to God. We'll let His simple teaching in Mark 12:28-34 show us how we can become more of what He created us to be.
