Prone
to wander, Lord I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love.
I
doubt that the hymn writer Robert Robinson was thinking of prayer when
he
penned those words, but every time I hear them, that's what I think
about. I'm regularly frustrated by my proneness to wander when I am
trying to talk to God.
